all eyes on you, all eyes on me
Foreword
The beauty world has welcomed a new designer line of makeup by no other than the iconic Rabanne. The brand was already known for its unique designs and perfumes, however, now we have a whole line of products to test and talk about. I tried to haul as much as possible, and in this post, we will kick things off with the Eyephoria Mini Palette.

About the Product
Rabanne Eyephoria Mini Eyeshadow Duo Palette (25 USD; Made in Italy) - is a collection of highly pigmented eyeshadow duos in multiple colors, finishes, and textures. This formula promises zero fallout or creasing and has won multiple awards in 2024.
Packaging: the Eyephoria Mini Palette comes in a petite silver squoval compact made of high-quality plastic. Inside you get a mirror and two eyeshadow pans containing 1.3g/ 0.05 oz of product. The palette is well-made and is travel-friendly. It comes in a color-coded box with the shade name descriptions and finishes mentioned on the back.
Recyclable ♻️
Formula: on average Rabanne shadows are high in Mica (shimmer), Squalene (moisture), a mix of Silicones, and other binding ingredients. The exact formulation will vary from shade to shade (finish to finish).
Vegan 🌱 Cruelty-free🐇
Finishes: currently, there are four finishes available in the Eyephoria Mini Palette line. We look at mattes, metallics, foiled shadows, and glosses (aka clear or tinted cream shadows). The shade description, however, does not always match the actual finish. For example, some colors are labeled as metallic; instead, they are pressed glitters with a colored base.
Texture: smooth and creamy across the board.
Shades: the Eyephoria Mini Palette is available in ten color stories. The two colors in each palette complement each other well and can be used as toppers, layered together, or individually.
The ones shown in this post are Midnight Lights, Date Night, and Put A Ring On It. See unedited swatches below.

Application: with the Eyephoria Mini Palette sparkly shades are best applied with fingertips, while mattes need brushes. Naturally, you are the artist here, so do as your heart desires.
One thing about the Eyephoria Mini Palette is that these shadows feel and glide on like silk. Colors fuse easily and there is indeed no fallout. I recommend using a primer if your eyelids tend to get oily throughout the day, as the shadows might crease.
The opacity level is more subdued compared to brands like Natasha Denona or Pat McGrath. However, with the right layering technique (for example packing the color on top of a cream or liquid color base), you can achieve a bold, statement look.
As for sparkly, glittery shades they adhere to the naked eye quite well. At the same time, packing a pressed glitter or shimmer by Rabanne on top of an eye base might add to the opacity and longevity of the shadow.
Wear: on its own the Eyephoria Mini Palette lasts 5-7 hours on my eyelids. Even when the shadows begin to fade, they do so in a flattering and sophisticated manner. Slight creasing occurs without an eye primer. There is no fallout.
Verdict
Rabanne, being a designer brand, seems to take more of a contemporary, understated approach to makeup. These palettes are sleek, modern, and very “backstage” in feel. You can mix and match your Eyephoria Mini Palettes as you please; the colors and finishes complement each other perfectly and are suitable for everyday and special occasion looks. Sparkly shades are my personal favorites here, I just find them to be so easy, smooth, and impactful. And above everything, the pricing for a designer line is fabulously affordable given just how high quality these formulations are. I am quite impressed by the Rabanne makeup line as a whole and give these duos a solid A.
